Philip is an operations expert, startup advisor, and international speaker. He is the Founder and Principal of Hapday Group, a market acceleration firm helping international companies enter and scale in the US market. Former Program Director of a New York Tech US market entry accelerator for post-seed startups, he has dedicated his career to helping companies enter new ecosystems.
To the goal of supporting cross-border business, he serves as a Director of Accathon Capital, a corporate innovation organization devoted to cross-border innovation and investment between China and the US. He also mentors for international accelerators including NUMA, the German Accelerator, and STEPnyc. As the Entrepeneur-In-Residence of Starta and the Global Startup Ecosystem as well as Director of Startup Boost’s New York chapter, he is frequently providing strategic support to companies at all stages.
Prior to this, Philip lived and worked in Taiwan for 2 years focusing on education, international relations, and technology development. As a Fulbright scholar and a former Microsoft employee, his expertise uniquely combines international exchange and ICT management.
Robby is experienced working across talent acquisition, sales, and marketing with and for both startups and Fortune 500 organizations. Rob started his career in recruitment in the Technology sector in the Midwest with Fortune 500 and Forbess 100 companies. After five years, he moved to Milan to pursue a Masters in International Marketing, where he also spent two years working for a global e-commerce startup. He moved to New York over three years ago to work for one of the largest global recruitment agencies, where he created and lead a new business line. Rob brings over nine years of experience in recruitment, sales, and marketing and is very active as a startup mentor for several accelerator programs across New York City specializing in helping US and non-US companies grow and scale.
With an intimate knowledge of the talent acquisition market coupled with his experitse in startups through personal experience and mentorship, Rob is able to partner with clients to drive Business Development, Go To Market, and Talent Acquisition strategies as well as the ability to dabble in brand and community management to help drive overall marketing attention and engagement. He is passionate about startups, sales, and where to find the best whiskey bar in Manhattan.
Rob has a Masters Degree from MIP Graduate School of Business at Politecnico di Milano and spent two years working internationally based out of Milan, Italy helping take a startup to global market.
