Win with partners … Big corporations have realized that proactively embracing innovation from partners is vital. While that applies to both, big strategic alliances and small POCs with Start-ups, the collaboration with the latter plays a very important role. Start-ups are not only a source for unconventional and often cheaper sources for solutions, but they also inject fresh blood in the giants venes. Yet, this is easer said than done. Like the majority of big mergers, also the big and small partnerships are often failing. Partnering is a very special discipline, from scouting via growth to the potential dissolving.
I will talk about how Deutsche Telekom Group approaches its strategic conviction of “winning with partners” and show some successful examples and some, where we learned.
